Managing your company profile page.

After CLAIMING your company profile page, you can manage the contents on that page and answer reviews written on your company page.

To manage your company page do the following:

1. Navigate to your company page (via search on the home page).
2. Login with the same credentials as you used to claim the page.
3. Click on the “Manage company details” -button under the gray cover image placeholder.

On the company dashboard you can:

– Add a company logo (a square image works best)
– Add a cover image
– Answer reviews written about your company

Claiming a company page as mine

When someone has written a review about your company, you may want to claim ownership of that company page. To claim a company page, please do the following:

1. Navigate to your company page (via search on front page).
2. Press the “claim”-button right below the gray cover image place holder on your company page.
3. Fill in your details so that we can asses correct ownership.
4. Log in / Create profile

After requesting a claim, we will review it and approve it if everything checks out.
This may take up to 24 hours.

After your claim has been approved, you can log in and start managing your company profile.

Report inappropriate content

If you consider a review as a fake review or having inappropriate content, please flag it directly on the site and our team will have a look. If we see that it is violating our Terms & Conditions, we will take it down. You cannot remove any reviews by yourself. Neither can we tell you who wrote the review.

If the content is not inappropriate or insulting, the best way to handle it is to reply to the review.

We have learned that employees want to share their passion, ideas and be part of the working community. Responding to reviews shows a company’s commitment to its employees. It tells that you as an employer care and seek for new ideas and improvements. Answering reviews provide you an opportunity to show transparency and respect to your employees.

Engage your employees and encourage them to tell their honest opinion and ideas. Utilising data is in the centre and particularly direct negative reviews allow you to take quicker actions not to lose momentum and talent. We always give you the last word.

How do I remove a review?

Everyone has the right to write a review if they have worked for you. See Terms & Conditions. If you consider a review as a fake review, please flag it directly on the site and our team will have a closer look. Choose the correct option from the dropdown and explain the reason. If we see that it is violating our Terms & Conditions, we will take it down. You cannot remove any reviews by yourself. Neither can we tell you who wrote the review.

Please do remember that everyone has got right to tell their open, honest and truthful opinion and you cannot pay us to take it down. We remove reviews only when we find strong evidence of abuse of our Terms & Conditions. Final content decisions are within Rate the Job sole discretion and we do not negotiate about them.

The best way to handle all reviews – positive and negative – is to reply. You can respond directly on Rate the Job site. Removing my company profile

You can remove your company account at any time, but you cannot remove the basic company profile page that has been created when someone has written a review about your company. Once you have removed the company account it cannot be re-activated. If you remove your account, all contributions you have made in the past will be removed from the site and cannot be restored. Also, all your current content will be lost if you choose to remove your company account.

Do I need an account?

If you as an employer would like to add your company to Rate the Job, you need to create an account. Please create a free account here by completing the required fields. You are asked to enter some additional information about your company. Your details will be sent to our team for verification. That might take a few days.

Employees might also get your company listed on Rate the Job site by submitting a review. During the review process, employee will be asked to answer few basic questions about the company. We only accept reviews from employees who have worked at a company within the past 5 years. The employer is then able to claim the company profile by clicking on “claim this profile” on the company profile page, automatically created when the first review is submitted.

Why is my company on Rate the Job?

After receiving the first review, your company will automatically appear on Rate the Job. Reviews can be submitted by your current or former employees. We only accept reviews from employees who have worked at a company within the past 5 years. All company profiles will remain on our site once created.
